About Me

14/01/2014

My name is Jenny Neville. I am a Parenting Consultant, NNEB Nursery Nurse and Mama to my own 2 gorgeous and lively little boys aged 3 & 5 years.

I have worked with children and their families for 20 years in a variety of roles including many years as a Nanny both in the UK and abroad, as a Nursery Nurse in a wide variety of day nurseries, and most recently as a Community Nursery Nurse for the NHS, part of the Health Visiting team. My latest areas of study have included Developing Sleep Training Skills, Post Natal Depression and recently I have trained with Nurturing Birth as a Doula.

Through my work and studies I have built up a wealth of experience and knowledge and since having my own children can also see things from a Mama’s perspective. Bringing this professional and personal insight together gives me a depth of understanding with which I can help you.

I offer support and help on many parenting issues and will work with you to find an appropriate plan or strategy to tackle the challenges you are facing. This may require a one off consultation, a consultation with follow up, or on-going support over a number of weeks. Every client is unique and so are their requirements; there’s no one size fits all in the world of parenting!

These are some of the more common issues I can help you with:
  • Sleep routines and difficulties
  • Care of the newborn
  • Breast feeding
  • Potty training
  • Temper tantrums
  • Sibling rivalry
  • Weaning
  • Fussy or picky eating
  • Post natal depression
  • Managing difficult behaviours
My qualifications:
  • NNEB Diploma in Nursery Nursing
  • OCN Health and Human Science Pathway
  • OCN Developing Sleep Training Skills
  • OCN Post Natal Depression
  • Doula trained by Nurturing Birth
Whilst working in the NHS I received specialist training in the following areas:

  • Speech and Language
  • UNICEF Breastfeeding Management
  • First Aid
